Morphological and electrophysiological properties of calbindin D-28k-, GABA- and dopamine-beta-hydroxylase-immunopositive neurons were investigated in the caudal nucleus of tractus solitarius of rats, using a patch-clamp whole-cell recording combined with intracellular staining and immunocytochemistry.
