We report electron spin resonance of the itinerant ferromagnets LaCrGe3, CeCrGe3, and PrCrGe3. These compounds show well defined and very similar spectra of itinerant Cr 3d spins in the paramagnetic temperature region. Upon cooling and crossing the Cr-ferromagnetic ordering (below around 90 K) strong spectral structures start to dominate the resonance spectra in a quite different manner in the three compounds. In the Ce- and Pr-compounds the resonance is only visible in the paramagnetic region… Expand

Electron spin resonance of the itinerant magnets ZrZn2 and Nb1?yFe2+y: A comparison
The two Laves phase compounds ZrZn2 and NbFe2 belong to the small group of low temperature itinerant magnets. While ZrZn2 shows a ferromagnetic (FM) transition with a small ordered moment, Nb1−yFe2+yExpand
Study on magnetocaloric and thermoelectric application potential of ferromagnetic compound CeCrGe3
We report on the magnetocaloric and thermoelectric properties of CeCrGe3. The compound crystallizes in the BaNiO3-type crystal structure (space group P63/mmc, no. 194, hP10) and undergoesExpand
Low temperature electron spin resonance of the Kondo ion in a heavy fermion metal: YbRh2Si2.
We report an electron spin resonance (ESR) study on single crystals of the heavy fermion metal YbRh2Si2 which shows pronounced non-Fermi liquid behavior related to a close antiferromagnetic quantumExpand
Interplay between 3d and 4f magnetism in CeCoPO
Abstract The ground state properties of CeCoPO, a homologue of the new high temperature superconductors LnFePnO 1 - x F x , were studied by means of susceptibility, specific heat, and resistivityExpand
Exchange Enhancement of Conduction Electron Spin Lifetimes in ZrZn1.9
The magnetic resonance originally observed by Ogawa in the ferromagnetic regime of ZrZn2 powder has been reinvestigated in thin plates of ZrZn1.9 of maximal Curie temperature and magnetization, atExpand

An enhanced γ of 130 mJ mol(-1) K(-2) together with the Kondo lattice behavior inferred from the ρ(T) establish CeCrGe3 as a moderate heavy fermion compound with a quasi-particle mass renormalization factor of ∼45. Expand
Muon spin relaxation study on itinerant ferromagnet CeCrGe₃ and the effect of Ti substitution on magnetism of CeCrGe₃.
A systematic study has been made on polycrystalline CeCr(1-x)Ti(x)Ge3 using magnetic susceptibility χ(T), isothermal magnetization M(H), specific heat C(T) and electrical resistivity ρ (T) measurements which clearly reveal that the substitution of Ti for Cr in CeCrGe3 strongly influences the exchange interaction and ferromagnetic ordering of Cr moments. Electron spin resonance of the ferromagnetic Kondo lattice CeRuPO.
The spin dynamics of the ferromagnetic Kondo lattice CeRuPO is investigated by ESR at microwave frequencies of 1, 9.4 and 34 GHz and the measured resonance can be ascribed to a rarely observed bulk Ce(3 + ) resonance in a metallic Ce compound. Expand
Suppression of ferromagnetism in the LaVxCr1−xGe3 system
We report synthesis of hexagonal LaVxCr1-xGe3 (x = 0-0.21, 1.00) single crystals, and present a systematic study of this series by measurements of temperature and field dependent magneticExpand
Ferromagnetic Quantum Critical Point Avoided by the Appearance of Another Magnetic Phase in LaCrGe_{3} under Pressure.
The temperature-pressure phase diagram of the ferromagnet LaCrGe_{3} is determined for the first time from a combination of magnetization, muon-spin-rotation, and electrical resistivity measurements, suggesting a near degeneracy of antiferromagnetic states with small magnetic wave vectors Q. Expand
