We calculate the dynamical spin response of Kondo impurity and Kondo lattice systems within a semiphenomenological Fermi liquid description, at low temperatures $T<T_K$, the Kondo temperature, and low magnetic fields $B \ll k_B T_K/g\mu_B$. Fermi liquid parameters are determined by comparison (i) with microscopic theory (numerical renormalization group) for the impurity model and (ii) with experiment for the lattice model. We find in the impurity case that the true impurity spin resonance has a… Expand
Theory of Electron Spin Resonance in Ferromagnetically Correlated Heavy Fermion Compounds
We studied the electron spin resonance (ESR) line width for localized moments within the framework of the Kondo lattice model. Only for a sufficiently small Kondo temperature can an ESR signal beExpand
On-chip broadband magnetic resonance spectroscopy down to ultralow temperatures
This thesis presents a novel technical realization to perform electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) based on superconducting coplanar waveguides (CPWs) and superconducting CPW resonators. ThisExpand
Evidence for the existence of Kondo coupled resonant modes in heavy fermions
Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) can microscopically probe both conduction electrons (ce) and local moment (LM) spin systems in different materials. A ce spin resonance (CESR) is observed in metallicExpand
