We give a quantitative analysis of the electric dipole moments as a probe of high scale physics. We focus on the electric dipole moment of the electron since the limit on it is the most stringent. Further, theoretical computations of it are free of QCD uncertainties. The analysis presented here first explores the probe of high scales via electron EDM within MSSM where the contributions to the electric dipole moment (EDM) arise from the chargino and the neutralino exchanges in loops. Here it is…

Neutron electric dipole moment and probe of PeV scale physics

The experimental limit on the neutron electric dipole moment is used as a possible probe of new physics beyond the standard model. Within MSSM we use the current experimental limit on the neutron EDM

Theoretical prediction and impact of fundamental electric dipole moments

A bstractThe predicted Standard Model (SM) electric dipole moments (EDMs) of electrons and quarks are tiny, providing an important window to observe new physics. Theories beyond the SM typically

Analysis of large effective electric fields of weakly polar molecules for electron electric-dipole-moment searches

The electric dipole moment of an electron (eEDM) is one of the sensitive probes of physics beyond the standard model. The possible existence of the eEDM gives rise to an experimentally observed

Merits of heavy-heavy diatomic molecules for electron electric-dipole-moment searches

The electric dipole moment of the electron (eEDM) and the Scalar-PseudoScalar (S-PS) interaction are probes of new physics beyond the standard model of elementary particles, but experiments to

We give here an overview of recent developments in high energy physics and cosmology and their interconnections that relate to unification, and discuss prospects for the future. Thus there are

Flavor structure, Higgs boson mass, and dark matter in a supersymmetric model with vector-like generations

We study a supersymmetric model in which the Higgs mass, the muon anomalous magnetic moment and the dark matter are simultaneously explained with extra vector-like generation multiplets. For the

The Role of Relativistic Many-Body Theory in Electron Electric Dipole Moment Searches Using Cold Molecules

In this review article, we survey some of our results pertaining to the search for the electric dipole moment of the electron (eEDM), using heavy polar molecules. In particular, we focus on the

Higgs boson mass constraint and the C P even-C P odd Higgs boson mixing in an MSSM extension

One loop contributions to the CP even-CP odd Higgs boson mixings arising from contributions due to exchange of a vectorlike multiplet are computed under the Higgs boson mass constraint. The

Order of Magnitude Smaller Limit on the Electric Dipole Moment of the Electron

Spin precession measurements in the polar molecule thorium monoxide indicate a nearly spherical charge distribution of an electron, which constrains T-violating physics at the TeV energy scale.

Low energy probes of PeV scale sfermions

The lightest Higgs scalar boson mass in supersymmetry can be raised significantly by extra vectorlike quark and lepton supermultiplets with large Yukawa couplings but dominantly electroweak-singlet
