Electron-acoustic solitary waves in the presence of a suprathermal electron component

Abstract

The nonlinear dynamics of electron-acoustic localized structures in a collisionless and unmagnetized plasma consisting of “cool” inertial electrons, “hot” electrons having a kappa distribution, and stationary ions is studied.
