The excitation of a spherical regular (in angular coordinates) anisotropic waveguide by electric and magnetic dipoles located in the ionospheric plasma or in the waveguide cavity is examined. It is shown that between the ionospheric fields of different ground-based sources oriented along the basis vectors of a spherical coordinate system there exists an elementary relationship that follows from the generalized reciprocity theorem and the boundary conditions on the earth's surface.
