This paper investigates the negative effects of electromagnetic interference (EMI) due to fast switching power devices (high dv/dt and di/dt) used in power electronic converters and industrial equipment. Mitigation techniques have been explored to reduce EMI noise effectively. Remedial measures to reduce the risk of equipment malfunction and health risk due to EMI have been explored.
