Electrical motor for liquid gas pump

Abstract

This paper presents the design and investigation of performance characteristics of 3-phase high voltage squirrel-cage submerged motor. The motor is intended to work at cryogenic temperature -161degC in liquefied natural gas (LNG). The motor is designed to drive a cargo pump for unloading LNG carrier. The time-stepping finite element method of transients… (More)
