  • Monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) offer a novel two-dimensional platform for semiconductor devices. One such application, whereby the added low-dimensional crystal physics (i.e., optical spin selection rules) may prove TMDs a competitive candidate, are quantum dots as qubits.
