The blood-brain barrier (BBB) poses great difficulties for gene delivery to the brain. To circumvent the BBB, we investigated a novel brain-targeting gene vector based on the nanoscopic high-branching dendrimer, polyamidoamine (PAMAM), in vitro and in vivo.
