Skeletally animated polygonal models are common in interactive 3d environments such as computer games. This paper presents an efficient technique for performing collision detection for such models with the possibility of integrating a skeletal animation system (based on pre-generated animations) with an existing physics engine in order to provide physically realistic responses to collisions.
