– The aim of the study was to assess functional status of the knee extensor system in the late postoperative period (at least two years of the operation and implant removal) in patients submitted to basket plate osteosynthesis for transverse or comminuted fracture of the apex of patella. The study included 71 patients with comminuted patellar apex fracture who had undergone basket plate osteosynthesis.
