Efficacy of digoxin administration in dogs with idiopathic congestive cardiomyopathy.

Digoxin administration (0.22 mg/m2 of body surface BID) to 10 large-breed dogs with congestive cardiomyopathy increased shortening fraction more than 5.5% in 4 of the dogs.
