Background: Tinospora cordifolia, an Indian medicinal plant, has been reported to have beneficial effects on disorders like peptic ulcer, hepatobiliary disorders, rheumatism, infectious diseases etc. It enhances cognition in normal rats and successfully overcomes cyclosporine induced memory deficit.
