OBJECTIVE The aim of this work was to verify the usefulness and efficacy of treating superficial vascular lesions of the face using rhodamine intense pulsed light (r-IPL). SUBJECTS AND METHODS Fifty patients suffering from telangiectasias of the face were enrolled and subsequently treated 4 times (every 20 days) with a new intensified r-IPL system optimized at the same wavelength as the dye laser (595 nm).
