We investigate the correlation between various aspects of the initial geometry of heavy ion collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider energies and the final anisotropic flow, using v-USPhydro, a 2+1 event-by-event viscous relativistic hydrodynamical model. We test the extent of which shear and bulk viscosity affect the prediction of the final flow harmonics, $v_n$, from the initial eccentricities, $\varepsilon_n$. We investigate in detail the flow harmonics $v_1$ through $v_5$ where we…
Elliptic flow fluctuations in central collisions of spherical and deformed nuclei
Elliptic flow ($v_2$) fluctuations in central heavy-ion collisions are direct probes of the fluctuating geometry of the quark-gluon plasma, and, as such, are strongly sensitive to any deviation from
Precision tests of the nonlinear mode coupling of anisotropic flow via high-energy collisions of isobars
Valuable information on the dynamics of expanding fluids can be inferred from the response of such systems to perturbations in their initial geometry. We apply this technique in high-energy Ru+Ru and
Fluctuations in ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions
Fluctuations are one of the main probes of the physics of the new state of hot and dense nuclear matter called the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) which is created in the ultra-relativistic heavy ion
pT -dependent particle number fluctuations from principal-component analyses in hydrodynamic simulations of heavy-ion collisions
We carry out a principal component analysis of fluctuations in a hydrodynamic simulation of heavy-ion collisions, and compare with experimental data from the CMS collaboration. The leading and
Initial conditions of bulk matter in ultrarelativistic nuclear collisions
Dynamical models based on relativistic fluid dynamics provide a powerful tool to extract the properties of the strongly-coupled quark-gluon plasma (QGP) produced by ultrarelativistic nuclear

Aaron Beck’s cognitive therapy model has been used repeatedly to treat depression and anxiety. The case presented here is a 34-year-old female law student with an adjustment disorder with mixed
