In a BAF(Batch Annealing Furnace), various studies have been pursued in order to reduce energy consumption rate to improve productivity and to stabilize the properties of products. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of both the atmospheric gas and convector plate shapes on the augmentation of heat transfer.
