AIM Postoperative intra-abdominal adhesion formation is a significant cause of morbidity. The aim of this study was to assess the effects of heparin and Seprafilm, which is considered the gold standard, on the prevention of intra-abdominal adhesions. METHOD Four groups consisting of 25 rats each were formed. Cecal abrasion was performed in all animals.
