Steady-state force-pCa relations were determined for mechanically skinned fibres of fast- and slow-twitch rat skeletal muscle, extensor digitorum longus (e.d.l.) and soleus respectively, at varied sarcomere lengths and temperatures (3-35 degrees C).2.
