OBJECTIVE To determine the most effective intervention program for prevention of early childhood caries. MATERIALS AND METHODS All studies published after 1966 were identified by searching electronic databases (Medline, The Cochrane Library, Embase, Dissertation and Serfile databases) and manual searching.
