In the present study we have analyzed the kinetics of the initial steps (first 10 seconds) of the interaction between the anthracycline daunomycin (DNM) and artificial lipid vesicles bearing opposite surface charge. The process can be monitored by measuring the fluorescence increase of the drug accompanying its association with the lipid bilayers.
