The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of isokinetic training on the rate of movement during ambulation in hemiparetic patients. Ten male and 10 female subjects, aged 40 to 75 years, participated in the study. The 20 hemiparetic subjects were assigned randomly to either a control group or an experimental group.
