Chronic antidepressant treatment is associated with sexual side effects, particularly affecting the ejaculatory response. Bupropion (BP), an antidepressant inhibiting dopamine/noradrenaline reuptake, seems to have a low impact upon male sexual function. Ejaculation is regulated both at the brain and spinal cord by the spinal generator for ejaculation (SGE).
