PURPOSE To investigate the effects of breathing variation on gating window internal target volume (ITVGW) in respiratory gated radiation therapy. METHOD AND MATERIALS Two-dimensional dynamic MRI (dMRI) of lung motion was acquired in ten volunteers and eight lung cancer patients.
