The whitefly, Bemisia tabaci Gennadius (Homoptera: Aleyrodidae), harbors primary and secondary endosymbionts. Previous research showed that the invasive B biotype and an indigenous nonB biotype (named non-B ZHJ-1 population) of B. tabaci from Zhejiang, China, harbored different endosymbionts.
