The effects of natural substances, Baykal EM1 and Biohumus, on growth processes of Amaranthus caudatus var. bulava and Amaranthus tricilor var. valentina which are indigenous in Bartin, Turkey, were researched. Length, number of leaves, number of flowers, length of flowers, stem girth, fresh root weight, amount of chlorophyll a+b, amount of Amaranthin and total nitrogen were taken into account.
