 Eleven brain-damaged patients with extinction were asked to report double tactile stimuli before, during, and after optokinetic stimulation and transcutaneous electrical stimulation of the posterior neck region. The goal of the study was to test whether tactile extinction is sensitive to these experimental manipulations in order to better understand the nature of the disorder.
