A bstractWe reformulate the calculation of the dark matter-nucleon scattering cross sections based on the method of effective field theories. We assume that the scatterings are induced by the exchange of colored mediators, and construct the effective theories by integrating out the colored particles. All of the leading order matching conditions as well as the renormalization group equations are presented. We consider a Majorana fermion, and real scalar and vector bosons for the dark matter and…
QCD effects on direct detection of wino dark matter
A bstractWe complete the calculation of the wino-nucleon scattering cross section up to the next-to-leading order in αs. We assume that the other sparticles are decoupled and wino interacts with the
Electroweak corrections in a pseudo Nambu-Goldstone Dark Matter model revisited
Having so far only indirect evidence for the existence of Dark Matter a plethora of experiments aims at direct detection of Dark Matter through the scattering of Dark Matter particles off atomic
Renormalization group effects in dark matter interactions
We present a renormalization-group (RG) analysis of dark matter interactions with the standard model, where dark matter is allowed to be a component of an electroweak multiplet, and has a mass at or
A complete effective field theory for dark matter
Abstract We present an effective field theory describing the relevant interactions of the Standard Model with an electrically neutral particle that can account for the dark matter in the Universe.
Systematic approach to B -physics anomalies and t -channel dark matter
We study renormalizable models with minimal field content that can provide a viable dark matter candidate through the standard freeze-out paradigm and, simultaneously, accommodate the observed
Electroweak corrections to dark matter direct detection in a vector dark matter model
Abstract Although many astrophysical and cosmological observations point towards the existence of Dark Matter (DM), the nature of the DM particle has not been clarified to date. In this paper, we
Scalar dark matter coannihilating with a coloured fermion
Abstract We analyse the phenomenology of a simplified model for a real scalar dark matter candidate interacting with quarks via a coloured fermionic mediator. In the coannihilation regime, the
Direct detection of dark matter: Precision predictions in a simplified model framework
We present a calculation of the next-to-leading order QCD corrections for the scattering of Dark Matter particles off nucleons in the framework of simplified models with s - and t -channel mediators.
Twist-2 operators induced Dark Matter Interactions
We study the effective interactions of the fermionic, scalar and vector dark matter (DM) with leptons and neutral electroweak gauge Bosons induced by the higher dimensional effective twist-2 tensor
Probing Bottom-flavored Scalar Dark Matters at Loop Level
In this paper we consider loop corrections to the spin-independent WIMP-nucleon scattering cross section in bottom-quark flavored scalar-type dark matter models. We focus on two scenarios: (a) a

TLDR
A class of terms that survive even in the absence of mixing in both the neutralino and squark sectors are identified; the corresponding quark and gluon operators also appear in analyses of deep-inelastic lepton-nucleon scattering ("twist-2 operators"), so their hadronic matrix elements are well known.
Gluon contribution to dark matter direct detection
In this article we have calculated the spin-independent cross section of nucleon-dark matter scattering process at loop level, which is relevant to dark matter direct detection. Paying particular
