The effects of the thiols cysteamine, WR-1065, and WR-255591 on radiation-induced micronucleus (MN) frequency and cell killing were compared in cultured Chinese hamster ovary cells. MN were measured using the cytochalasin B assay of Fenech and Morley (1985), which minimizes the effect of cytokinetic perturbations on MN expression.
