Insecticide endosulfan significantly inhibited testicular androgen biosynthesis in adult rats, when fed (po) at 7.5 and 10 mg/kg body weight dose levels, consecutively for 15 and 30 days. No appreciable alterations were apparent in body weights, testicular wet weights, and cytosolic and microsomal protein contents of testis in treated rats.
