In the present work the results obtained from the study of the effect of temperature, RH, UV radiation and day-night thermal variations, in controlled laboratory conditions, on the survival of D. dendriticum eggs in sheep faeces are described. Mortality was seen to be maximum with a RH of 75-80% and temperatures higher than 18 degrees C. The results are compared with those obtained in natural conditions.
