The polar and nonpolar extracts of the brown alga Sargassum wightii (Greville) J. Agardh, collected during winter (November– January),spring(February–April),summer(May–July)andautumn(August–October)wereevaluatedforanti-inflammatoryactivity using carrageenan-induced paw edema in rats.
