Two experiments studied the relative effects on body mass and testicular growth of stimulatory photoperiods applied simultaneously to two photosensitive species, the house sparrow (Passer domesticus) and brahminy myna (Sturnus pagodarum). Experiment 1 on the house sparrow consisted of two parts.
