We studied the effect of the nitric oxide synthase (NOS) inhibitor asymmetric dimethyl arginine (ADMA) and the inactive enantiomer N G-methyl-D-arginine (D-NMMA) on Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection of the respiratory mucosa in nasal turbinate organ cultures.
