Abstract

In an effort to synthesize drugs which would become much more cytotoxic at clinically achievable hyperthermic temperatures, complexes of the tetrachloro-platinum(II) dianion were made with two anthracene dye derivatives, MITOX and BISANT, and the acridine dye derivative m-AMSA.
