OBJECTIVE To study the effect of hydrogen-rich water (HRW) on acute peritonitis with three different rat models. METHODS Acute peritonitis was induced by three methods including intraperitoneal injection of lipopolysaccharide (LPS), rats' feces or cecal ligation and puncture (CLP) operation.
