Abstract The influences of heat treatment on stress corrosion cracking (SCC), fracture toughness and strength of 7085 aluminum alloy were investigated by slow strain rate testing, Kahn tear testing combined with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
