The micellization and phase equilibria in aqueous solutions of cationic quaternary ammonium bromide surfactants of the type alkyltrimethyl-, -ethyl-, -propy-, -butyl-, and -pentylammonium bromide have been investigated as a function of alkyl chain length, electrolyte concentration, and temperature.
