During seed production, nutrients (nitrogen) and climatic conditions (water) can affect their physiological quality. Therefore, the influence of common bean cultivation with the use of more sustainable techniques such as co-inoculation with nitrogen-fixing bacteria and the reduction of the irrigation depth on the quality of the seed produced should be analyzed. Maternal effects on seedling development in Phaseolus vulgaris L.: the role of nitrogen management
TLDR
It is demonstrated that plants in mutualism and fertilized with 150 kg ha−1 of N-fertilizer in V 0 show increments in the seedling’s establishment ability, however, with this dose the percentage of vigorous normal seedlings decreases and mineral nitrogen causes a fixed variability in the system, regardless of the dose.
