Abstract

A rise in the carbonic acid and pH level in rat blood determines an increase in oxidative properties of the liver cell cytoplasm. Simultaneously the content of alpha-ketoglutarate, isocitrate, glutamate, alpha-glycerophosphate, dihydroxyacetone phosphate, pyruvate, lactate, malate increases and the level of glucose, glutamine and ammonia decreases.
