OBJECTIVE To determine the effect that acute physiologic derangements have on outcome after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) and to design a composite score summarizing these abnormalities. DESIGN Prospective observational study. SETTING Neuroscience intensive care unit in a tertiary care academic center.
