The effect of shaddock citrus fruit juice on the lipid profile, fasting blood glucose level and some kidney function markers were evaluated in 16 male Wistar albino rats. The rats were procured from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Animal House, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and were of average age of 12 weeks, weighing 130 – 170grams.
