The effect of salinity stress under the levels (6.5,8.5,10.5, 12.5and15.5)dSm on the irradiated callus induced from shoot tips of eight sugarcane cultivars (Cp81 304, Cp72 -355 ,Cp70 -330 ,NCO -311 , Cp67-412,Cp170-310,Cp70321andCp70-1133)were studied. Fresh and dry weight beside ion content and plant regeneration were used as indicators after 6 weeks.
