Summary and conclusions Female albino rats, age 30 days at beginning of the experiments, were fed ad libitum ground feed diets containing 100, 300, or 600 p.p.m. of pure p, p′ DDT. After 60 days, at age 90 days, the rats were sacrificed, ovaries were removed, weighed, and analysed either for total cholesterol or for organic chloride. Control females were handled the same way except food was uncontaminated with DDT. Other groups of 30-day females were started on 800 and 1,000 p.p.m. DDT diets…
A study of the absorption of 14C-labelled DDT from water by fish
TLDR
It is suggested that the concentration of DDT present in the lipids may determine the toxicity to fish, thus explaining the greater susceptibility to DDT of fish in poor condition or of low fat content.
DISTRIBUTION OF C14-DDT AND C14-DIELDRIN IN PREGNANT MICE DETERMINED BY WHOLE-BODY AUTORADIOGRAPHY.
TLDR
The distribution of the isotope in the body was studied by means of whole-body autoradiography and the highest concentration was found in the fat tissues, liver, intestines, and mammary glands.
The effect of insecticides on Chinese hamster cell cultures.
TLDR
DDD and DDT were by far the most damaging compounds, and they raised the gap and break rates markedly, however, no induction of configuration anomalies was found in any experiment, and DDA was the least toxic compound of the four.

DDT, though used almost exclusively as an insecticide, is toxic in varying degrees to practically all animal life at some dosage and has even been accused of inhibiting photosynthesis in lower

In a specimen of baobab flour which was examined, the carbohydrate by difference was 76 % , whereas the glucose calculated from the copper-reducing power after hydrolysis was 33 yo, the exceptionally high pectin content accounted for much of the difference.
IMPACTS OF PLASTIC POLLUTION ON THE SUSTAINABILITY OF SEAFOOD VALUE CHAIN AND HUMAN HEALTH
The study evaluated the impacts of plastic pollution on the sustainability of seafood value chain. The world aquaculture production in 2016 stood at 80.0 million tons of food fish, gradually declined
Effects of some pesticides and related compounds on steroid function and metabolism.

TLDR
This paper focuses on the effect of pesticides on metabolic functions which can be examined at the enzyme level and the literature is replete with examples of such studies.
ENDOCRINE DISRUPTORS
The term endocrine disruptor was coined at the Wingspread Conference Centre in Wisconsin, in 1991. An endocrine-disrupting compound was defined by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as
