Abstract

Botrytis squamosa Walker appeared to be the organism causing many leaf spots on onion plants, giving the leaves a “blast”-like appearance. In pathogenicity tests the fungus proved to be very aggressive, particularly when conditions for infection were favourable, e.g. high humidity.
