We introduce here very briefly, through some selective choices of problems and through the sample computer simulation programs (following the request of the editor for this invited review in the Journal of Physics Through Computation), the newly developed field of econophysics. Though related attempts could be traced much earlier (see the Appendix), the formal researches in econophysics started in 1995. We hope, the readers (students \& researchers) can start themselves to enjoy the excitement…
Kinetic exchange income distribution models with saving propensities: inequality indices and self-organized poverty level
We report the numerical results for the steady-state income or wealth distribution P(m) and the resulting inequality measures (Gini g and Kolkata k indices) in the kinetic exchange models of market
Finance 4.0—A Socio-Ecological Finance System
This contribution develops the framework of a novel, socio-ecological finance system that enables the incentivization of environmentally friendly behavior, socially responsible production, resource

Essentials of Econophysics Modelling
This book is a course in methods and models rooted in physics and used in modelling economic and social phenomena. It covers the discipline of econophysics, which creates an interface between physics
Introduction to Econophysics
This book concerns the use of concepts from statistical physics in the description of financial systems. The authors illustrate the scaling concepts used in probability theory, critical phenomena,
Econophysics An Introduction
TLDR
The econophysics an introduction is universally compatible with any devices to read and will help you to enjoy a good book with a cup of tea in the afternoon instead of facing with some harmful bugs inside their computer.
Econophysics of Income and Wealth Distributions
The distribution of wealth and income is never uniform, and philosophers and economists have tried for years to understand the reasons and formulate remedies for such inequalities. This book
Reality-check for Econophysics: Likelihood-based fitting of physics-inspired market models to empirical data
TLDR
It is shown how Stan, a modern probabilistic programming language for Bayesian modeling, can be used to fit several models from econophysics, including models by Vikram & Sinha and Franke & Westerhoff, and a quantitative comparison with standard econometric models.

The Immediate Exchange model: an analytical investigation
We study the Immediate Exchange model, recently introduced by Heinsalu and Patriarca [Eur. Phys. J. B 87, 170 (2014)], who showed by simulations that the wealth distribution in this model converges
Rigorous Results for the Distribution of Money on Connected Graphs
This paper is concerned with general spatially explicit versions of three stochastic models for the dynamics of money that have been introduced and studied numerically by statistical physicists: the
