OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to determine the economic costs and the level of catastrophic health expenditure (CHE) due to childhood epilepsy. METHODS The study was conducted at the Paediatric Neurology Clinic of the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu.
