An overview of tourism in general, and in Africa in particular, within GATS rules on Tourism is the starting point of this study to develop a number of considerations. Firstly, some of the bottlenecks and potential for Tourism development in Africa will be listed, as well as how the present state of WTO negotiations affect tourism development in the region.
