The aim of this prospective study was to compare fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose ([18F]FDG) positron emission tomography (PET) with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in patients with early aortitis, at the time of initial diagnosis and during immunosuppressive therapy.
