In this paper, we describe some issues that every implementation of external linkbases using XLink has to consider, and provide a number of possible solutions. We particularly consider as relevant the issues connected to providing navigation-related features, that is, adding external links to the actual web pages before displaying them, and to providing creation-related features, that is, the user interface elements necessary to users to create new links, or modify and delete existing ones… CONTINUE READING
